Grand Mosque of Dubai One of best historical attarctions to visit in Dubai is definitely the Grand Mosque of Dubai. Buit in the 1900’s, it was actually originally built to house a school where boys would learn to recite the Holy Quran. In 1998 it opened as a mosque, and includes beautiful seperate men’s and women’s praying domes, baths, and places to sit, or rest. It also has the highest minaret in the Middle East at 70 meters in height. |
